Irvine Crescent is a mid-sized framed kitchen built from stained European oak. While the client had a clear idea of their preferred layout and wider decor such as worktops and appliances, we worked alongside them to define the overall style of the space and construction details of the bespoke cabinetry. Our particular focus lay in enhancing storage and functionality, and designing a full-height coffee unit and food pantry with pocket doors and wide drawers below.

With a limited footprint and several shallow walls, each unit was designed to maximise space. The coffee unit incorporates pocket doors that slide into 450mm cavities, allowing full access without obstructing the adjacent living room doorway. The bench seating includes flush hinges that lift the seat, revealing storage for small appliances and table linen within.
The client requested a bespoke cutlery tray tailored to their ACME set, inspired by a similar piece in our Lyndhurst Gardens project. The tray sits flush to the top of the drawer and can slide back and forth over the cutlery insert beneath, or be removed entirely and brought to the dining table.
A solid oak handle runs along the top of each door and drawer to complete the framing. -
